Kadhdhoo Airport (KDO), officially identified by its ICAO code VRMK, is a significant domestic aviation facility located in the Laamu Atoll of the Maldives. As one of the earliest regional airports established in the country, it serves as the primary air gateway for travelers visiting the central atolls, particularly those heading to luxury resorts and guesthouses in the Haddhunmathi region. The facility sits at an elevation of 3 feet (1 meter) above sea level and is managed by the government-owned Kadhdhoo Airport Company Limited (KACL).

The airport features a small but efficient integrated passenger terminal designed to manage domestic operations between Kadhdhoo and Malé's Velana International Airport (MLE). The layout is straightforward, with dedicated zones for departures and arrivals housed under one roof. The terminal includes a modern check-in area for the national carrier, Maldivian, and a comfortable security screening zone. Uniquely, the airport grounds also feature the Halaveli Inn, an on-site guest house providing private rooms for passengers needing to freshen up or manage short layovers between flight and boat transfers.

Amenities within the Kadhdhoo terminal are well-appointed for a regional hub. Passengers can relax in the Kin'bi Lounge, which offers comfortable seating and free high-speed Wi-Fi. For dining, the Synphonic Garden Restaurant serves a variety of local and international dishes, complemented by a smaller snack shop for quick refreshments. Ground transportation at KDO is highly specialized due to its location in the Laamu Atoll. Uniquely for the Maldives, Kadhdhoo is connected by land via a series of causeways to the capital island of Fonadhoo and several other inhabited islands, allowing for taxi and private vehicle transfers between the airport and the regional administrative center. For resort guests, speedboat transfers are the primary mode of travel, with representatives typically meeting arriving passengers at the terminal exit to escort them to the dedicated airport pier. Travelers are generally advised to arrive at least 90 minutes before their domestic flight to account for check-in and security procedures.
