Hoarafushi Airport (HRF) is a modern domestic aviation facility serving the Haa Alif Atoll in the northernmost region of the Maldives. The airport features a compact, single-terminal building that was officially opened in November 2020 to enhance connectivity for the northern islands. The terminal is designed with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic and provides a comfortable environment for travelers, including an air-conditioned waiting lounge and streamlined check-in services. Inside the terminal, facilities are focused on the essential needs of domestic passengers. Ground transportation to Hoarafushi village and nearby island resorts is primarily conducted via local taxis or resort-coordinated speedboats, which meet passengers directly outside the terminal exit.
