Florø Airport (FRO), located on the southern shore of Florelandet, serves as a vital regional gateway for Norway's westernmost town and the surrounding Sunnfjord region. Operated by Avinor, the airport features a single terminal building that has been the heart of local aviation since its opening in 1971. Its strategic location, just five minutes from the Florø town center, makes it exceptionally convenient for both local residents and the significant number of workers supporting the offshore oil and gas industry in the North Sea.
