Arad International Airport (ARW)

Arad International Airport (ARW) serves the city of Arad in western Romania, strategically located near the Hungarian border. Despite its international designation, ARW is a relatively small facility that primarily caters to general aviation, charter flights, and occasional routes operated by low-cost carriers. It often functions as an alternative to the larger and busier Timișoara Traian Vuia International Airport (TSR), which is approximately 50 kilometers away. The terminal building is compact and designed for efficiency, housing all necessary passenger services within a single, easily navigable space.
