Arar Domestic Airport (RAE) is the primary aviation hub serving the city of Arar and the Northern Borders Province of Saudi Arabia, located approximately 10 miles (16 km) from the city center. Following a major $101 million redevelopment completed in 2021, the airport features a state-of-the-art integrated terminal with a unique architectural design shaped like the Arabic letter 'Ain' (the first letter of Arar), which resembles an eye from an aerial perspective. It acts as a critical infrastructure link, connecting the northern desert region to major national hubs like Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam via daily services by Saudia and flynas.

The terminal infrastructure provides a wide range of contemporary amenities across its 14,990-square-meter layout, designed to handle over one million passengers annually. Travelers have access to six travel gates, including two modern passenger boarding bridges capable of serving four aircraft simultaneously, and a spacious departures lounge with seating for over 900 people. The facility includes specialized Executive and Royal terminals for VIP and official use, alongside modernized security and passport control counters designed for high-efficiency processing. The building is fully accessible and offers free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout, ensuring a professional environment for both business and leisure travelers.

Ground transportation to central Arar is well-supported by local taxi ranks and ride-sharing services like Uber and Careem situated directly outside the arrivals hall, with the journey typically taking between 15 and 20 minutes.
