Phetchabun Airport (PHY) is a regional domestic aviation facility serving Phetchabun Province in Northern Thailand, located approximately 25 miles (40 km) north of the Phetchabun city center. The airport operates from a single, compact passenger terminal building designed to facilitate regional travel and essential charter operations. While the facility historically hosted regular commercial links to Bangkok via Nok Air, it currently functions primarily as a base for private aviation, government missions, and seasonal charters.

The terminal infrastructure is modest and focused on essential transit services, providing a functional waiting area and basic check-in counters. While the facility lacks large-scale commercial amenities like retail shops or duty-free outlets, travelers can find a small on-site café and a luggage-wrapping booth when flight operations are active. The facility is fully accessible and offers a secure environment for passengers, alongside a dedicated information desk and basic medical support for urgent assistance.

Operationally, the airport features a substantial 6,890-foot (2,100m) asphalt runway managed by the Department of Airports (DOA). Ground transportation to central Phetchabun and the nearby district of Lom Sak is informal, with visitors typically utilizing local taxi services or pre-arranged private vehicle transfers. For regular scheduled commercial airline services, travelers to the province typically utilize Phitsanulok Airport (PHS), located approximately 2 hours away, and complete their journey via the regional highway network.
