Osijek Airport (OSI)

Osijek Airport (OSI), also known as Klisa Airport, is a regional aviation facility located approximately 12 miles (20 km) southeast of Osijek, Croatia. As of early 2026, the airport is nearing the completion of a major €14.3 million modernization project, which includes a complete overhaul of the passenger terminal to meet modern EU standards. During the final phase of construction, passenger operations have been temporarily relocated to the adjacent administrative building.

The new terminal complex, scheduled for full opening in late March 2026, features expanded check-in areas, modernized security screening, and automated biometric gates for international arrivals. Standard amenities within the facility include a dedicated café-bar, a duty-free shop offering local Croatian specialties, and free Wi-Fi throughout the passenger zones. The airport also provides essential services such as a currency exchange office, an information desk, and dedicated assistance for passengers with reduced mobility.

Ground transportation to central Osijek is primarily supported by taxi services and pre-arranged private transfers, with the journey taking approximately 20 to 30 minutes. While formal public shuttle services are limited, the airport maintains nearly 300 on-site parking spaces, with the first 15 minutes being free for passenger pick-up and drop-off. Several car rental agencies, including major international brands, maintain desks within the terminal complex for traveler convenience.
