Oran Es-Sénia (Ahmed Ben Bella) International Airport (ORN)

Oran Ahmed Ben Bella Airport (ORN), also known as Es Sénia Airport, is the second-largest aviation hub in Algeria, located approximately 6 miles (9 km) south of the city center. The airport recently underwent a major modernization with the opening of Terminal 1, a state-of-the-art international 'smart' terminal designed with advanced sustainability features, including a large-scale solar power plant and rainwater recovery systems. Terminal 2, the original facility, has been renovated to handle all domestic traffic. The terminal infrastructure provides a wide range of amenities for travelers, including multiple VIP and premier lounges that offer comfortable seating and refreshments. Both terminals feature various dining options serving local and international cuisine, alongside retail shops and duty-free outlets in the international sector. Passengers also have access to essential services such as ATMs, currency exchange desks, and free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the complex. Ground transportation at ORN is well-supported by a large, modernized parking facility with over 3,500 spaces, including dedicated zones for short-term and long-term parking. Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals area, and several car rental agencies maintain desks on-site. While the airport is currently accessed via the N2A and N4 highways, ongoing infrastructure projects are focused on connecting the terminal complex directly to the Oran tramway network.
