Košice International Airport (KSC)

Košice International Airport (KSC) serves as the primary aviation hub for eastern Slovakia, located approximately 6 kilometers south of the Košice city center. The airport features a compact and efficient two-terminal layout: Terminal 1 (T1) is dedicated to non-Schengen flights, while the newer Terminal 2 (T2) handles all traffic within the Schengen zone. Recent surges in passenger numbers, exceeding 827,000 annually as of 2025, have led to significant investments in terminal infrastructure to maintain high service standards for travelers connected via major carriers like LOT Polish Airlines, Austrian Airlines, and Ryanair.

Passengers navigating the facility will find a range of amenities designed for both convenience and comfort. The landside area features the Propeller Bistro, which offers local Slovak specialties and outdoor seating, while the airside transit zone includes specialized bars like Airwine and Dolly Bar for pre-flight refreshments. For business travelers and elite status holders, the Caproni Business Lounge is situated on the first floor near Gates 5 and 6. This lounge provides a quiet environment with natural light, private restrooms, and a selection of snacks and beverages, and is also accessible to Priority Pass and LoungeKey members on a paid basis.
