Foumban Nkounja Airport (FOM)

Foumban Nkounja Airport (FOM), also known by its ICAO code FKKM, is a regional aviation facility serving the historic city of Foumban in the West Region of Cameroon. Located approximately 20 kilometers southwest of the city in the town of Koutaba, the airport is a critical piece of infrastructure for the Bamoun kingdom, one of Cameroon's most culturally significant areas. At 3,963 feet elevation, the airport operates a single 2,100-meter (6,890-foot) asphalt runway (04/22) capable of handling a variety of domestic and regional aircraft, providing an essential link to this interior part of the country.

The terminal facilities at Foumban Nkounja Airport are functional and designed to support domestic and charter operations. Inside, the building houses essential check-in counters and security screening areas.
