Tippi Airport (TIE)

Tippi Airport (HATP) was a small regional airport that previously served the town of Tippi (Tēpī) in Ethiopia's Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region (SNNPR). Located at coordinates 7.11700°N, 35.38300°E at an elevation of approximately 1,240 meters (4,068 feet) above mean sea level, the airport was positioned in the highland terrain typical of Ethiopia's diverse topography. The facility served as an important transportation link for this remote southwestern region of the country.
