Sovetskiy Airport (OVS), also known as Sovetsky Tyumenskaya, is a regional aviation facility located approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) south of the city of Sovetskiy in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia. The airport operates from a single, compact passenger terminal building designed for high efficiency and straightforward navigation. It serves as a vital transportation hub for the region's oil and gas sectors, connecting the area to major Russian cities like Moscow, Tyumen, and Yekaterinburg. The terminal infrastructure provides essential amenities for domestic travelers, including a general waiting hall and a superior comfort business lounge offering refreshments and a quiet workspace.
