Osmanabad Airport (OMN)

Osmanabad Airport (OMN), officially known as Dharashiv Airport, is a domestic facility located in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India. Situated approximately 6 miles (10 km) north of the city off National Highway 211, the airport features a single terminal building constructed by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). It is currently operated by Reliance Airport Developers under a long-term lease. The terminal facilities are modest and primarily designed to support regional aviation and pilot training activities. Amenities within the building are limited to essential passenger waiting areas and basic security services, reflecting its current status as a low-volume airfield. There are no major dining, retail, or lounge services available inside the terminal, so travelers are advised to coordinate all logistical needs prior to arrival. The airfield features a 3,966-foot (1,200m) asphalt runway and is a significant hub for pilot training, hosting an active flying school with its own dedicated hangar and apron. While there is no scheduled commercial airline traffic at present, the airport is frequently used for private charter flights, helicopter operations, and visits by state government aircraft. Ground transportation to the city is typically handled via local taxis or auto-rickshaws.
