Eppley Airfield (OMA)

Eppley Airfield uses two concourses (A and B) linked by a central landside hall that houses ticketing and security. Both concourses branch directly from the single post-security rotunda, so once passengers clear the checkpoint they can access any gate without re-screening. Walking times are short: from security to the far end of Concourse A or B is typically 6–8 minutes, and crossing between the concourses inside the secure area adds only a couple of minutes. Elevators next to the rotunda provide step-free access to the mezzanine and gate levels. A single consolidated TSA checkpoint sits between ticketing and the secure rotunda, with dedicated PreCheck and family lanes. Waits are usually modest (often 5–15 minutes), though early-morning business banks and weather disruptions can extend queues, so arriving 90 minutes before departure is advised. International arrivals, including seasonal charters, are handled in a small customs facility on the south side of the terminal; passengers exit to the public arrivals hall and must re-check bags at their airline counters for onward flights. Domestic arrivals flow directly to baggage claim on the ground level. Amenities feature the Escape Lounge (Capital One) near Gate B11, full-service dining at The Local and Beacon Hill, and several coffee/market kiosks in both concourses. Nursing suites are positioned near Gates A6 and B4, a kids’ play zone sits by Gate A3, and accessible routes with elevators and moving walkways simplify transfers for travelers with mobility needs.
