Larestan Ayatollah Ayatollahi International Airport (LRR), commonly known as Lar Airport, serves as a vital regional gateway in southern Iran's Fars Province. The airport is uniquely positioned to handle a high volume of international traffic relative to its size, primarily facilitating travel for the large expatriate community moving between southern Iran and various Persian Gulf states. To manage this traffic efficiently, the airport operates a dual-terminal system: Terminal 1 is dedicated to domestic operations, while Terminal 2 handles all international arrivals and departures, ensuring a streamlined process for different traveler needs. The terminal facilities at Lar Airport are modern and designed to provide essential comfort for passengers. International travelers in Terminal 2 have access to a duty-free shop, while both terminals offer amenities such as banks, ATMs, and first-aid stations.
