Los Menucos Airport (LMD), also identified by its local code MCO, is a provincial aviation facility serving the town of Los Menucos in the Río Negro Province of Argentina. Situated at an elevation of approximately 784 meters (2,571 feet) above sea level, the airport acts as a critical link for the southern steppe region of the province. The facility operates from a single, basic passenger terminal building designed primarily for essential administrative processing and regional transit. The terminal infrastructure at Los Menucos is minimalist and focused on providing functional support for private, medical, and government flight operations. As there is currently no regular scheduled commercial airline service at LMD, the terminal lacks the standard metropolitan amenities found at larger Argentine hubs, such as diverse food courts, professional lounges, or retail shops.
