Linhares Municipal Airport (LHN), officially known as Antônio Edson de Azevedo Lima Regional Airport, is a domestic aviation facility serving the city of Linhares in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil. Following a major modernization project and the inauguration of a new passenger terminal in April 2023, the airport has significantly enhanced its capacity to handle regional commercial traffic. The modern, single-story terminal is designed to accommodate approximately 200 passengers at a time, providing a streamlined and efficient transit experience for those traveling within southeastern Brazil. The terminal building features a compact and intuitive layout, with a 194-square-meter departure area and a 66-square-meter arrivals hall. While the terminal is modest in scale compared to major metropolitan hubs, it is managed by Infraero, ensuring a high standard of operational support. Due to its regional nature, travelers are encouraged to utilize the diverse dining and retail options available in the nearby Linhares city center, as on-site amenities are focused primarily on functional transit requirements. Ground transportation to and from the LHN terminal is well-coordinated, with the airport located approximately five kilometers from downtown Linhares and situated conveniently near the BR-101 highway. Access is primarily facilitated by local taxi and ride-sharing services, providing quick connections for business and leisure travelers alike. The airport serves as a vital hub for regional connectivity, with primary routes linking Linhares to Belo Horizonte (CNF) via carriers such as Azul Conecta. Travelers are advised to arrive at least 90 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth check-in process at this growing regional outpost.
