Inside the existing terminal, amenities are basic and include a general waiting hall, essential check-in counters, and a small snack bar providing refreshments and light snacks. There are currently no professional lounges or large-scale retail shops on-site, though the upcoming expansion aims to broaden these offerings. Flight operations at LGI are dominated by Bahamasair and Southern Air Charter, with frequent daily connections to the capital, Nassau (NAS). The airport's location is strategically positioned about 15 to 20 minutes from major natural attractions such as Dean's Blue Hole. Ground transportation is conveniently arranged via local taxi services available upon flight arrival.
