Pulkovo Airport (LED), the primary international gateway to Saint Petersburg, Russia, operates from a single centralized terminal complex that handles all domestic and international flights. This modern facility, which integrated the historic Pulkovo-1 building into its new design, is organized across four main levels to ensure an intuitive flow for millions of annual passengers. The ground level (Level 1) is dedicated to arrivals, baggage claim, and customs, while the upper levels manage check-in, security, and departure lounges. The terminal's departure zone is divided into two main galleries: the North Gallery primarily serves domestic routes, while the South Gallery is dedicated to international destinations. Travelers have access to a wide range of facilities, including duty-free shops, 24-hour dining options, and several business and VIP lounges. Unique artistic elements, such as the "Aviator" sculpture and a statue of Peter I, add a distinct cultural character to the terminal's modern architecture. For those on long layovers, the airport also features a capsule hotel located within the terminal complex. Ground transportation to the city center is efficiently handled by buses 39 and 39Ex, which connect the terminal to the Moskovskaya metro station in approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
