Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport (JZH) is a significant high-altitude aviation facility located in Songpan County, serving the world-renowned Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong scenic areas in Sichuan Province, China. Situated at an elevation of approximately 3,448 meters (11,312 feet) above mean sea level, the airport is often referred to as the 'Airport in the Clouds.' The facility operates from a single passenger terminal designed in a traditional Tibetan architectural style, providing a culturally immersive and efficient entry point for travelers arriving to explore the spectacular turquoise lakes and limestone terraces of the Min Mountains.
