Hazrat Sultan International Airport (HSA) is a state-of-the-art aviation facility serving the historic city of Turkistan in southern Kazakhstan. Officially opened in December 2020, it holds the distinction of being the first major international airport constructed in Kazakhstan since the country's independence. The airport features a modern 10,500-square-meter passenger terminal designed to international standards, reflecting Turkistan's growing importance as a cultural and spiritual center of the Turkic world. Inside the terminal, travelers have access to high-quality facilities and amenities. The airfield boasts a 3,300-meter asphalt runway, capable of handling large wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 777 and Airbus A330.
