Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (HHN) is a major low-cost carrier hub located in the Hunsrück region of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Despite its name, the airport is situated approximately 120 kilometers west of Frankfurt am Main, serving as a primary gateway for budget travelers heading to central and western Germany. Originally a military airbase, Hahn was converted for civilian use in the 1990s and has since become a key base for Ryanair and Wizz Air.
