Golmud Airport (GOQ) is a critical aviation facility located in Golmud, Qinghai Province, China, serving as a vital link for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Situated at an impressive altitude of approximately 2,800 meters (9,324 feet) above sea level, it is recognized as one of the highest commercial airports in the world.
