Historical airport that ceased operations on March 18, 2019, following the inauguration of Ramon Airport. Previously served domestic and international flights to the southern resort city of Eilat. Named after Arkia Airlines founder Yakov Hozman.
Airport permanently closed since March 2019. All passenger services transferred to Ramon Airport (ETM), located 20km north of Eilat. Uvda Airport also ceased civilian operations when Ramon opened.
This airport is permanently closed. For current Eilat flights, use Ramon Airport (ETM). Historical significance as gateway to Red Sea resort destination until replaced by modern Ramon Airport facility.
