Taraz Airport (DMB), officially known as Aulie-Ata International Airport, is a significant aviation facility serving the city of Taraz and the broader Zhambyl Region in southern Kazakhstan. Following a comprehensive modernization program, the airport has emerged as a critical regional link for both domestic travel and specialized international services. A unique aspect of the facility is its ownership; since 2011, SCAT Airlines has been the 100% shareholder, ensuring that the airport's development is closely aligned with the operational needs of one of Kazakhstan's major carriers.

The airport's infrastructure was fundamentally transformed with the completion of a new 6,800-square-meter passenger terminal in late 2015. This modern facility is designed to handle up to 600 passengers per hour, providing a total annual capacity of approximately 650,000 travelers. The terminal layout is highly efficient, featuring multiple check-in counters, digital passenger processing systems, and a spacious hall for transit passengers.
