Kangra Airport (DHM), also known as Gaggal Airport, is the most critical aviation facility in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Located in Gaggal, just 12 to 15 kilometers from the bustling spiritual center of Dharamsala and the residence of the Dalai Lama in McLeod Ganj, the airport serves as the primary gateway for thousands of domestic and international travelers seeking the tranquil beauty of the Dhauladhar Range. The airport features a compact integrated terminal building that efficiently manages both arrivals and departures. In 2024, Kangra Airport was ranked first in the Airports Authority of India's (AAI) Customer Satisfaction Survey for domestic airports, reflecting the dedication of the local staff.
