Cochin International Airport (COK/VOCI) is the primary aviation hub serving Kochi and the state of Kerala, India. It holds the prestigious distinction of being the world's first fully solar-powered airport, a landmark achievement in sustainable aviation that reflects Kerala's commitment to green energy. Located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of the city center, it is the busiest and largest airport in Kerala, acting as a major gateway for the region's large expatriate population and a primary entry point for international tourists visiting the state's famous backwaters and hill stations.
