The most convenient public transit option is the Airport Shuttle Bus, which operates on a route connecting the terminal to the Rongbang International Building and the Bazhong Agricultural Bank in the city center. Tickets cost approximately CNY 10, and departures are conveniently timed to coincide with flight arrivals (usually 30 minutes after landing). For those needing to connect to China's high-speed rail network, Bazhong East Railway Station is the primary hub. While there is no direct rail link at the airport, a taxi ride to the station takes about 40 to 50 minutes and costs roughly CNY 50-60. Alternatively, you can take the airport shuttle to the city center and transfer to a local bus. A unique advantage of BZX is its proximity to Enyang Ancient Town (恩阳古镇), one of the region’s major cultural attractions, located just 6 to 10 kilometers from the terminal. A taxi or Didi ride to the ancient town takes only 15 to 20 minutes, making it an easy 'layover' destination if you have a few hours to spare. While ride-hailing via the Didi app is widely available and efficient, travelers should be aware that English signage outside the airport is limited. It is highly recommended to have your destination address written in Chinese characters to show your driver.
