Bensbach Airport (BSP), also known as AYBH, is a remote regional aviation facility located in the southwestern corner of Papua New Guinea's Western Province. Situated along the banks of the Bensbach River near the border with Indonesia, the airport serves as the primary aerial gateway for one of the most sparsely populated and ecologically pristine regions in the country. The airport serves as the indispensable link for guests staying at the nearby Bensbach Wildlife Lodge, which is famous for its massive populations of barramundi and diverse birdlife, including over 190 recorded species. There are no established public bus routes, traditional taxi services, or professional car rental agencies at the airfield.
