Brasília–Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport (BSB) is a major hub featuring a large, modern terminal building divided into two main concourses: the South Pier (Píer Sul) and the North Pier (Píer Norte). The central terminal body houses check-in counters on the upper level and arrivals on the lower level. The South Pier (gates 18-32) primarily serves domestic flights and is connected to the main building by a connector with additional gates. The North Pier (gates 1-10) handles both international and domestic traffic. The layout is expansive, and walking times between the central area and the far ends of the piers can be significant (15-20 minutes). Amenities are extensive, with a wide variety of dining options including restaurants, fast food, and cafés located both landside and airside. The 'Service Square' on the second floor offers additional services. Shopping is plentiful, with duty-free stores, fashion boutiques, and electronics retailers available. For premium travelers, BSB offers excellent lounge facilities, including the 'Aeroportos VIP Club' (Domestic and International), 'VIP Express Club' on both piers, and a BRB VIP Lounge. There are also 'Siesta Box' sleep cabins available for rent airside. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the terminal. Security screening is generally efficient but can get busy during peak hours; separate channels exist for domestic and international departures.
