Brasília–Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport (BSB) serves as Brazil's federal capital's primary aviation gateway, located 13 kilometers from downtown Brasília in the administrative region of Lago Sul. Operated by the Inframerica consortium since privatization in 2012, the airport underwent extensive modernization for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, transforming it into one of South America's most efficient hub facilities. The North Pier specializes primarily in domestic operations, creating an efficient separation of passenger flows while maintaining connectivity through the central terminal area.
