Bijie Feixiong Airport (BFJ) is a modern regional aviation hub serving the city of Bijie in the northwestern part of Guizhou Province, China. Opened in June 2013, the airport is located in Dafang County, approximately 18 kilometers from the central business district of Bijie. The facility features a single 2,600-meter asphalt runway and a contemporary passenger terminal building spanning over 7,100 square meters. The airport acts as a critical gateway to Guizhou's dramatic karst landscapes and its rich tapestry of ethnic minority cultures, including the Miao and Yi communities, significantly improving accessibility to this mountainous and historically remote region. The passenger terminal at Feixiong is designed for efficiency and ease of navigation, typically handling all arrivals on the ground floor and departures on the upper level. The facility includes modern check-in islands, streamlined security screening zones, and a comfortable departure lounge equipped with multiple boarding gates.
