Benina International Airport (BEN) is the primary aviation gateway to Benghazi and the eastern region of Libya. Located approximately 19 kilometers east of the Benghazi city center, the airport acts as a vital lifeline for the Cyrenaica region, supporting both national stability and regional commerce. After undergoing significant damage during the conflict in the mid-2010s, the airport has seen substantial reconstruction efforts, resulting in a much more capable and modern facility.
