Moba Airport (BDV) is a vital regional airstrip serving the town of Moba and the surrounding communities in the Tanganyika Province of the southeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Situated on the western shores of Lake Tanganyika, the airport acts as a critical lifeline for a region where road infrastructure is notoriously poor and often impassable. The facility features a single unpaved runway made of gravel and packed earth, which is suitable for light aircraft, regional turboprops, and specialized cargo planes.
