Terminal 2 currently serves mostly as a landside check-in and transport hub with coach stands and is linked to T1 via an indoor walkway in under 10 minutes; most departures still board from T1/Midfield. The Sky Bridge connects T1โs main building to the North Satellite Concourse on foot in about 8 minutes, while the Automated People Mover shuttles passengers between the East Hall, West Hall, and Midfield Concourse in about 2โ4 minutes.
Security screening is centralized at the T1 departure level with North and South security halls; waits average 10โ20 minutes but can swell at morning and late-night bank times, with frequent extra lanes opened for relief. Additional screening occurs at some Midfield and North Satellite gates for US/Israel-bound flights. Arrivals flow through separate immigration halls for north and south sections of T1; baggage reclaim carousels sit directly behind the passport control line, and customs uses open green/red channel inspection with occasional baggage scans.
