Arrive at least 90 minutes before domestic flights and 2 hours before international departures to navigate the screening process comfortably. If your journey requires a transfer from Haifa to Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) for a long-haul connection, the trip takes approximately 90 minutes by train or car. In this case, allow a minimum of 5 hours between flights to account for the ground transfer and the mandatory 3-hour international check-in at Ben Gurion.
The airport is conveniently linked to the Haifa metropolitan area via taxis and the nearby Hutzot HaMifratz railway station.
