Simultaneously, the Ukrainian state was responsible for building a new 3,200-meter runway, engineered to accommodate large wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 777. The new terminal was designed to handle a peak capacity of 1,000 passengers per hour, featuring advanced digital processing systems, expansive retail zones, and modern airline lounges that would have significantly enhanced the regional travel experience.
