The planned passenger terminal infrastructure is designed to span approximately 18,000 square meters, with an initial capacity to handle up to 2 million travelers annually. The facility will also feature an advanced 45-meter air traffic control tower and a 3,050-meter concrete runway, ensuring high efficiency for both domestic scheduled flights and international charters.
Ground transportation to the popular tourist hub of Mui Ne, located approximately 12 miles (20 km) to the south, will be supported by a newly constructed 4 km dedicated access road equipped with modern lighting systems. Until the civilian terminal officially opens for commercial traffic, travelers typically utilize Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh City and complete their journey via the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet Expressway.
