Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) is one of Bangkok's two international airports and serves as a major low-cost carrier hub for domestic and regional international flights across Southeast Asia. The airport operates with two main terminals: Terminal 1 (International) and Terminal 2 (Domestic).
Both terminals are modern and designed to handle high passenger volumes, with Terminal 2 typically being the larger and more recently renovated domestic facility. Suvarnabhumi Airport operates from one main terminal building spanning seven concourses (A-G) plus the new SAT-1 satellite terminal opened in September 2023, connected by Thailand's first 24-hour Automated People Mover running every 3 minutes. The main terminal designates Concourse A for domestic flights and Concourses B-G for international operations, with walking times between concourses ranging from 5-15 minutes aided by moving walkways. SAT-1 adds 28 gates including 8 capable of handling A380s and Boeing 747-8s, increasing annual capacity from 45 to 60 million passengers.
