Within CTU, domestic connections can still be efficient enough, especially for routes that remain in the Shuangliu system. The real danger is the CTU-TFU handoff. That is not a short terminal walk. It is a substantial inter-airport movement that deserves serious time and cannot be treated like a routine domestic transfer.

If Tianfu is involved, build the connection around that transfer first and everything else second. Chengdu is manageable when you know which airport you need.
