The route from Islamabad to Gilgit already demands conservative planning, and anything beyond that into the Diamer region should be treated as expeditionary or project logistics rather than as a simple transfer. If you are connecting from an international flight, you will almost certainly route through Karachiโs Jinnah International Airport.
It is recommended to allow at least 3 to 4 hours for this transfer to account for immigration, baggage collection, and security re-clearance.
